un bel effet mais pas rassurant pour les voyageurs
Love the processing..your point-of-view and how you framed this.
Man! It’s scary, Rian. But I’m guessing it still has a lot of life left in it!
I know it looks bad. But the fact is, these structures were built to withstand many years of exposure to the elements and the loads associated with typical train travel. Probably the most hazardous thing I see would be the lead in the paint chips falling off. If anything, it probably could use a new coat and no one would look at it twice.
BTW, great blog, I look at it regularly. Good stuff !
I love this shot. Nice use of lines to push the mind into the questioning future of the structure.
Nice colors and textures. I’ll guess it will last another 40 years.
Great rust and decay – and a very nice contrasting blue color!!
We really like your use of angle in this shot!
Such a cool feel. Love the texture of it.
Is it the Chicago L? Great urban decay mood. Gritty textures, yet very pretty light. Nice one.
wow.. super processing of this shot . Great , rusty bridge . Super angle too .
As a rusty bridge. I hope she does not collapse.
The underbelly of the elevated looks very rugged and unmaintained. I would think the investment would demand better care. A street shot from a great viewpoint.
Great colors! The sharpness in the elevated road/railway really feels touchable. Very nice. Nice location.
looks like it’s been there for a very long time, great shot!
What an eye and angle. The blue really pops!
these things are pretty resilient.
This brings back so many good memories, love the angle and the sun getting some light onto the bridge.
It sure needs a paintjob soon.
Wnderful picture.
Lovely details, patterns and above all cool camera angle.
Wow! What destruction! Nice composition.
wow! Great work, Rian. So much detail, so complex.
hahaha … hopefully not with you under or on it eh? 🙂 great textures and lighting going on there.
Great angle and processing.. the rust makes such great contrasts.. I’m sure they check the quality every now and then… Nice work
….Same than other visitor comment, something I’m questioning about the beauty of decay… on the public structure… Anyway great find.

It’s downright scary. That’s a terrible tragedy just waiting to happen. The colors mixed with rust are fabulous for an image though.
I won’t discuss the state of this structure but your shot brings out the “beauty” of decay… Well done!
Excellente image de ce pont avec ces textures différentes qui nous montrent que cet ouvrage n’est plus tout jeune.
Nice work with the picture.
