..the good thing with being the driver on a road trip is that you get to choose when and where to stop.. well, since i was the driver, i get to do that.. and that’s exactly what i did.. that’s why it took us almost a week to get to San Francisco and back.. here’s one of the first stops, somewhere around the Gaviota State Park..

That’s a spectacular tree to stop for and get this shot. Excellent image. I like how it shows up so well against the dark blue sky.

Good for you, Rian. I know what you mean. These days I’m very lucky because Astrid can read my mind and knows when to stop if I don’t mention it first. She’s learning how to stop on a dime when she can. 🙂 If this stop is any indication of the rest of your week, we’re in for a treat!
