sibyl temple

The Sibyl Temple was originally built in 1929 as a garden gazebo at Vestavia, the Shades Mountain estate of former Birmingham Mayor George Ward. It is a replica of the Temple of Sibyl in Tivoli, Italy near Rome. It now sits atop Shades Mountain along U.S. Highway 31 at Shades Crest Road in Vestavia Hills, which takes its name from the former estate.

that bramble wall reminds me of a dream i had, there was a bramble like that grown in front of a door i was trying to get into 🙂 very neat shot!! dreamy even lol…. do you really like our possible new pad? doesn’t look too small to live in?

I like how you composed this shot to include the sign and the setting of the temple.
The fence curves around just right to enhance the shot. Well done.
