great use of fish eye.
nice and simmetric.
This is absolutely fantastic. The fish eye lens used to perfection, absolutely wonderful
Very nice one… I will never buy a fisheye, it is a thing that forces you to lie on the ground and you get dirty…
lol! indeed, it forces you to get down & dirty.. but for this one, i was just gazing upwards.. π thanks! π
One of the best fisheye images I have seen. Superb clarity and so very captivating. Excellent work!
Wow, fish eye shots are always incredible!
This put the eye in fisheye…way cool shot
I just wondering how down you had to go in order to get this shot. Must have been a lot of knee-bending movements here. But when you look up and see all the angles you have, I think you have a pretty good idea of how to do the framing. Excellent shot!
Very impressive….I like it:-)
Bonjour,
Great use of fisheye lens..Well done effect…Bravo!
A spectacular shot notable for its fine detail. This very sharp image is very appealing. Well done.
30 rock right? i’ve never seen it outside of tv. awesome shot… totally new perspective for me. sweet composition, great placement of everything within there. that had to take some work π
excellent shot Rian! may be one of the best images i’ve seen using fish eye! π
yep, 30 rock.. π in my case, i’ve just seen one episode..
thanks, nothing difficult here, just gazed upward and suffered quizzical looks from passers by..
Another awesome and creative shot. It is a fantastic photograph.
WOW! Have never seen a fisheye work as well as this. This is exceptional!
Very impressive Rian! For a split second I thought you were underground in a manhole shooting upwards!
from the way you’ve done this it really does look like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. creative angle.
Oh yeah!!! This is awesome! Really great work Rian! π The statue really ties it together. And those buildings all seem to go towards one vanishing point. Very very cool!
I like the repetition of flags – this spot is ideal for your fish eye – nice!
wow that’s so cool how atlas’ world mimics the shape of your lens, very very cool shot Rian!! you should be proud
nice work
Excellent photography in deed.
Beautiful image, with such clarity. Great choice to start it off below that atlas. very well done indeed!!
Cool picture, great compositon and clarity…
I donΓΒ¦t know but when looking at the sky and moving my laptop around it almost looks like some lips in the sky… I assume it is clouds, or maybe I need to go to bed π
I like this a lot!! I can’t tell if this is one shot (it would be hard to believe and I’d be impressed) or if this is a spherical panorama (where I’d be equally impressed). I must repeat again, unique views are hard to find and you always do. Really great shot!
Fantastic fisheye shot, with superb colour and contrast between light and shadow. Well positioned with the statue and the building coming in between the globe of the statue. Really good work; can’t see how you could improve on this.
Fantastic capture. Everything here is framed perfectly. Exposure is dead on. π
I couldn’t help but smile when I saw this picture. Fun.
Rian, may I suggest that you look at the January issue of Popular Photography. I think you will be quite surprised. This is an excellent shot. I love the perspective.
wah! i know.. i just saw it a while ago too.. i could’ve joined that photo competition and got the grand prize too.. lol! oh well.. from what i see he shot it around july so he got the idea way before i did.. π
