I have looked at this a couple of times trying to decide what I think. I have decided that I like it because of the strong face.
before reading your description i had no idea what this guy was about – it’s an intriguing look. and beautiful handling of the light – the soft light behind him is really lovely.
A little ore contrast, and a background with a little more grunge would have done wonders for this caracter.
Excellent portrait. It screams with character.
