I think it was a movie from the ’80s. Nice shot…sense of motion in the midst of the stillness of the city crowd.
Nice motion in this picture. Indeed it seems to be a scene of a movie !
Captured at the right time. Is this an idea for a series?
thanks! 🙂 series? hmm.. nah, not this one though.. 😀
You always come up with the coolest shots Rian. Good work. 🙂
This is very cool, Rian. Never seen a more interesting motion blur. Beyond that, I love the street scene and the actual brick street. Very nice.
hehe… thats just a grand shot you got there. Love the motion!
A ghost ! Wonderful !
Stunning effect Rian. Could be the invisible man, the people in this image don’t even appear to notice this runner.
that’s a sweet picture. perfect shutterspeed / him running / everyone else ratio. i’ve gotten all sorts of weird results with that sort of effect before. nothing so spectacular — and complete — my collection is primarily one-legged people on street corners 🙂
as a woman or lady… good effect!
Half running Half invisible!
someone messed with the chemicals 🙂
Nice. It looks like his stomach is ahead of him.
… and before the stupid movie, it was an original Stephen King short story written under his pseudonym 🙂 I like your runner’s positioning just over the girl taking the photograph – neat.
Wow great capture. He is like a ghost!
A well timed capture of this guy’s “express” form when crossing against the “don’t walk” sign. 🙂 Seriously, a fine capture and picturing of motion. The other walker’s also have a bit of blur to their steps which adds to the spontaneous feel of the shot. Very well done.
cool shot, I like ghosty people in this shot …
The running man is nicely separated from everything else in the image – makes him even more impressive – terrific shot!
Like this silhouette passing in silent, very cinematographic.
