cooped up at home has it’s perks.. i got to catch up on some surfing.. and not a moment too soon! because there was these rumors spreading around about those new cams from Nikon & Canon, and true enough, Canon’s website confirmed that the 50D (ISO 12800!!) would be available soon.. (my 40D is just a few months old) the horror.. the horror.. well, this might be a significant upgrade for those of you using pre 40D’s ( 30D, 20D & 10D(?) ).. Nikon’s supposed D90 on the other hand.. they said it’s been pulled from the Circuit City ad, but it has GPS geotagging?! HD video?! wtf?!

Interesting that chase for the newest equipment! If the 50D never appeared people would be content and yet as soon as it does people become discontent with what they have…MMmmm interesting! We need to make sure that we don’t lose sight of the fact it is all about the image.
Thank god for film I say…very nice shot which I assume was managed without geotagging 😉

Uh-oh. She’s window shopping! Maybe if we wait long enough, Rian, a camera will come along that will be so expensive it’ll put all of today’s cameras in the affordable bracket! You sure got yourself a humdinger of a picture with the one you have right now!

I know how you feel about the latest equipment. I’m nursing an overloaded PC, wanting a MAC. I’ll get there:-) This photo is truly exceptional in composition, quality, and processing….he’s also one cool looking dude. I’d love to hear his music.
