St. Louis Union Station, a National Historic Landmark, is a passenger train terminal in St. Louis, Missouri. Once the world’s largest and busiest train station, it was converted in the early 1980s into a luxury hotel, shopping center, and entertainment complex. Today, it is one of the city’s major tourist attractions and serves only local rail (Metro) transit passengers.

..here’s Trigun’s Nicholas D. Wolfwood, his death scene was quite touching..
Known for its Space Western theme, Trigun is about a man named “Vash the Stampede” and the twoBernardelli Insurance Society employees who follow him around in order to minimize the damages inevitably caused by his appearance. Most of the damage attributed to Vash is actually caused by bounty hunters in pursuit of the “60,000,000,000$” (sixty billion “double dollars”) bounty on Vash’s head for the destruction of the city of July. However, he cannot remember the incident clearly due to his amnesia. Throughout his travels, Vash tries to save lives using non-lethal force. He is occasionally joined by a priest, Nicholas D. Wolfwood, who, like Vash, is a superb gunfighter with a mysterious past.

..my ears are still ringing as i write this.. i went to a Sevendust concert last night and was able to squeeze out a few shots from the mosh pit.. this is Lajon Witherspoon(vocals) & John Connolly (guitars)..

..that’s what those college kids were screaming out loud behind us.. they were looking to get the beads thrown by drew brees but none fell our way..

..well, today is mardi gras and it doesn’t get more mardi gras than this, Drew Brees (New Orleans Saints QB) in costume (as king bacchus) throwing beads to the rabid crowds.. pretty crappy shot, but what the heck, this is the only decent shot i got.. i’ll be posting some shots here in the following days, if i don’t then, just check it out on my flickr..
..lemme tell you, catching beads ain’t a walk in the park.. we saw a sobbing young girl holding a bloody hanky over her mouth, i guess she was hit by those flying beads.. i managed to catch a few beads too, not intentionally but just to shield the front element of my lens from being smashed by those beads, and boy were they heavy..

..got the urge to shoot some wildlife.. stalked a snaky-necked bird (must be a cormorant or something like that) under the bridge in windy 45+F temps, but it got spooked (thumbnail), ended up with this one..
